Job description

Ready to turn complex challenges into elegant, scalable Salesforce solutions?

Join FinDock as our Salesforce Developer

As the #1 Customer Payment Operations solution built natively on Salesforce, FinDock helps organizations deliver seamless, personalized payment experiences. Trusted by hundreds of organizations worldwide and rated 4.98 stars on the Salesforce AppExchange, we’re shaping the future of payments.

That’s why we proudly say: FinDock. For Customer Payment Happiness.

And as we scale, every new hire helps us build more than software - they help us build trust, momentum, and the future of our product.\

What’s your role?

As a Salesforce Developer, you bring product ideas to life. You translate complex requirements into safe, scalable, and maintainable Salesforce-native features that power FinDock’s entire platform.

You’ll work across Apex, LWC, metadata, packaging, and platform architecture - building the mission-critical components that Product Managers, partners, and customers rely on. You’ll be a trusted engineering voice, shaping both how features are built and how the product evolves.

Your work makes FinDock stable, performant, and future-proof.

Your day-to-day

Build high-quality product features

  • Translate user stories and product requirements into clean, well-structured Apex, metadata, and Salesforce-native components.

  • Deliver predictable, high-quality increments within agreed sprints and milestones.

Collaborate across Product & Engineering

  • Work closely with fellow engineers, tech leads, QA, and Product Managers to clarify requirements early.

  • Participate actively in design discussions and architectural reviews.

Review, refine, and improve

  • Contribute to code reviews - giving and receiving actionable feedback that strengthens team quality.

  • Refactor existing code, reduce technical debt, and improve performance as part of each cycle.

Solve bugs with clarity and ownership

  • Investigate and resolve defects quickly, documenting root causes to prevent regressions.

  • Ensure fixes meet SLAs and follow quality standards.

Document what matters

  • Maintain clear documentation for APIs, implementation decisions, and patterns to support team onboarding and long-term maintainability.

Share knowledge and strengthen the team

  • Bring forward learnings, patterns, platform updates, and best practices.

  • Help build collective engineering maturity.

Ensure release readiness

  • Confirm your contributions pass all tests, checks, and reviews before release cutoffs.

  • Help guarantee smooth, surprise-free release cycles.

Job requirements

What makes you a great fit?

Experience & Skills

You’re a strong match if you bring:

Technical core

  • Solid 5+ years experience as a Salesforce Developer (Apex, metadata, governor limits, testing patterns).

  • Deep understanding of how Salesforce components interact - triggers, flows, dependencies, packaging, performance considerations.

  • Ability to make good technical tradeoffs: complexity vs. value, performance vs. maintainability.

Ways of working

  • High attention to detail - aware of Salesforce’s many “one-way doors.”

  • Strong problem-analysis and debugging skills.

  • Clear written and verbal communication with technical peers (bonus if you can simplify for non-technical colleagues).

  • Collaborative mindset - you enjoy building with others, not soloing in silence.

  • Initiative - you raise blockers early and propose solutions.

  • Continuous learning - Salesforce evolves constantly, and so do you.
