Your mission
Joining forces with the product team (DevOps team) and working together with QA, you’ll be the wizard behind high-quality solutions for complex issues in order to maximise customer success. We are on the look for someone not just technically savvy but also a strategic thinker, a team enthusiast and a builder of high-quality solutions.
What you'll do
- Determine and define functional product and business needs and requirements as well as user stories in close collaboration with the Product team
- Write and deliver well designed, testable, efficient and high quality code
- Enable the Quality Assurance team to prepare test cases and strategies for unit testing
- Ensure deliverables meet requirements and specifications
- Maintain the security and integrity of the application software
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in your area of expertise
- Investigate alternative solutions and technologies to support improvements and present these for architectural review
Your responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver high-quality, unit-tested solutions in close collaboration with QA and the product team.
Ensure deliveries align with optimal outcomes for our product and customers, considering both short-term and long-term requirements.
Actively contribute to improving our product.
Furthermore, you will have lots of freedom to express your own style and opinion on the products you work on; your voice matters.

Our passionate Product & Engineering team spans across The Netherlands, Finland and Poland, boasting a dedicated, diverse team of high-skilled professionals. Their mission is to make FinDock the first choice payment solution for professionals in every Salesforce Cloud, industry and Appexchange offering. This mission hinges on enhancing a high quality, user-friendly and reliable product.
You will report to Stefan van der Knaap, our CPO.
Our tech stack is PHP (8.3), Redis, RabbitMQ and Postgres. We run our applications on Heroku.

Job requirements
What you'll bring to the team
- A minimum of 2 years of back-end development experience
- Mastery in the following technologies: PHP and Laravel
- Knowledge of SOLID principles
- Experience in a product organisation is a preference
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Experience with running and maintaining applications
