Job description

Ready to bring clarity, structure, and growth to engineering?

Join FinDock as our Manager Engineering People & Operations

As the #1 Customer Payment Operations solution built natively on Salesforce, FinDock helps organizations deliver seamless, personalized payment experiences. Trusted by hundreds of organizations worldwide and rated 4.98 stars on the Salesforce AppExchange, we’re shaping the future of payments.

That’s why we proudly say: FinDock. For Customer Payment Happiness.

And as we scale, predictable revenue execution becomes critical. That’s where you come in.

What’s your role?

At FinDock, engineering works in a matrix. Engineers are part of cross-functional product teams, focused on delivery. At the same time, they belong to craft-based Nexi, where they grow their discipline and raise the bar together. It’s a powerful model. But it only works when three things come together:

People grow.
Teams work well together.
Operations support instead of slow down.

That’s where this role lives. You operate across three axes: people, teams, and operations. Each with its own responsibility.

On the people side, you ensure engineers grow, perform, and stay engaged.
On the team side, you help teams improve how they collaborate and take ownership.
On the operations side, you own how engineering runs across teams.

You notice when an engineer is doing the work, but not really growing. When a team is delivering, but struggling underneath. And when operational work is unclear, inconsistent, or simply not owned. And you bring it back to clarity. Not by stepping into delivery.
Not by taking ownership away from teams. But by strengthening each layer of the system.

You make expectations explicit for people. You help teams improve how they work together.
And you ensure the operational side of engineering is structured, visible, and actually executed.

That operational side is not an afterthought. It includes the processes engineering depends on.
It includes cross-team coordination and follow-up. It includes reporting, planning, and the rhythm of how decisions are prepared and tracked. It is real work. And it needs clear ownership.

Delivery stays where it belongs, in the teams.
Technical direction stays with Tech Leads.
Craft development sits with Nexus Leads.

You make sure all of that works together, consistently, not occasionally. And when the matrix creates ambiguity, you step in. You clarify ownership, align stakeholders, and make it possible to move forward again.

This is not a role where you own delivery. This is a role where you ensure delivery can happen by keeping people, teams, and operations working together. You create the conditions for engineers to thrive, for teams to improve, and for the organization to scale with clarity, structure, and confidence.

Act as coordination and escalation point
